I've been an automotive mechanic for about 6 years, professionally, but I've been under the hood of my own personal vehicles over 10. While I never went to bed hungry, my family was definitely frugal. When our 2003 Ford Windstar minivan inevitably broke down, it was up to us to fix it. That's how I discovered I possess a real talent for fixing cars. At the time of writing, I hold 6 (of 8, with #7 coming soon) industry certifications, as well as my Electrical Systems Specialist certification from Nissan.
I know the ins & outs, rich & poor, good & bad of the auto industry. More often times than not, people of all walks of life get taken advantage of by corrupt salesmen, ineffective or incommunicable service advisors, unqualified technicians, and even the manufacturers themselves.
That's why I started Zed's over 1 year ago, now. With over 300 satisfied customers, I hold transparency & empathy to be the true cornerstones of my business. No more games of telephone, no more outrageous labor rates, no more disguised practices. From start to finish, it's just you & me through the entire repair process. I work with you on a fair labor rate, because that's how it should be. I include my full Concern, Cause, and Correction notes in every invoice -- so you can view exactly how and why I condemn failures/diagnosis of your vehicle. Video inspections, price-matching, 12 month/12,000 mile warranties, parts-only oil changes... I could go on and on. Not only all that, I'm a mobile technician, so I take the worry out of not having your vehicle for extended periods of time. I get it.
When I'm not replacing transmissions or diagnosing phantom-like windshield wipers, you can usually find me in one of three places. I enjoy spending time with my family at home, becoming an unofficial expert on my always-changing, latest "hyperfixation", or woodworking in the garage, with my "designated shop dog", Jax.
Call or shoot me a text or email, I can help you get it fixed right the first time.
